City Groups
We Gather, then we Scatter
Citylight South Church is committed to gathering and scattering as the body of Christ. Jesus has called us to make disciples, and we believe the best way to do so is by scattering throughout the week into City Groups and huddles.
What is a City Group?
A City Group is a mid-sized community that meets weekly to be transformed by the Gospel, grow as a spiritual family, and serve a specific neighborhood or network of Lincoln.
City Groups are open to anyone and new people are always hopping in. Life and following Jesus are not meant to be done alone. God designed us to be in community! We want everyone to have real relationships with one another, share life together, grow closer to the Lord, be able to share struggles, and to show and share Jesus with those around us. Kids are welcome, too!
What about a huddle?
Huddles are groups of 3-5 same-gendered people who meet regularly to help each other grow in knowing Jesus and becoming more like him. They provide an opportunity to read God’s Word together, confess sin, encourage each other, and point each other to Jesus.
